BOOKINGS
You can make your booking by email at info@parosribriders.gr, over the telephone on +30 6980 249 253 or through the contact form of our website. You must mention the departure/return dates that you are interested in, your destination, the number of people travelling and any other preference you may have.
In order to charter a skipper free boat you must have a valid motorboat skipper license for at least 10 years and be over 30 years old.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Your booking will be confirmed as soon as you pay a deposit amounting to 50% of the total sum.
Your booking will be automatically cancelled, if you don’t proceed to the deposit within 3 days.
In order for us to process your booking, you are required to provide the following documents:
1. A two-sided copy of you ID card or your passport.
2. A copy of your motorboat skipper license.
3. The details under which the invoice will be issued.
4. Your proof of payment.
VESSEL CHARTER AGREEMENT -DEPARTURE
The payment of the remaining 50%, as well as of the deposit (as mentioned below), is made before departure, upon signature of the Private Vessel Charter Agreement, which includes civil liability and insurance coverage in case of passenger accident. An inspection and presentation of the vessel will take place before your departure, so that you become familiar with the boat’s internal spaces, during which you will be fully informed on the accompanying equipment and the safety rules.
PAYMENTS
All payment transactions must be made via credit card (POS) or bank deposit. The payment of the total agreed rental fee must be made before your departure, upon check-in. Issues relating to fuel costs and additional expenses (e.g. due to possible damage) will be addressed after you return, following the check-out boat inspection.
DEPOSIT
Depending on the service and the vessel of your choice, you will be asked to pay the corresponding amount of deposit, which will be reimbursed upon boat delivery, provided that no damage has occurred. The amount of the deposit varies according to vessel model and charter type.
INSURANCE COVERAGE
All boats are professionally licensed and have full insurance coverage, as required by law. For each damage that might occur, there is a deductible amount set by the insurance companies which is borne solely by the charterer and is automatically deducted from the deposit. Refer to damage analysis listed below to review all possible damages and their corresponding costs.
By signing the Private Vessel Charter Agreement the charterer expressly declares to unconditionally accept our company’s damage costs chart and undertakes to pay the corresponding amount in its entirety in case of damage, the cost of which exceeds the remaining deposit amount. If for any reason the fuel expenses are not paid by the charterer, the corresponding amount will automatically and primarily be deducted from the deposit.
If you decide to include skipper service in your chartering, our captain will be responsible for the boat’s integrity and the charterer will not be charged for any damages that might occur. If, nevertheless, during your rental period, you or any other passenger wishes to operate the boat (provided that you have a motorboat skipper license which you carry with you on board), even temporarily, then the sole responsible (economically) for any damage that might occur during this specific period is the charterer, and the same applies as in the case of skipper free chartering.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The boat will depart according to schedule, unless the winds blowing in the area are of Beaufort force over 6. In case of adverse weather conditions your booking can be transferred to a different date, depending on availability, and your deposit cannot be refunded. If you wish to cancel your reservation (for any reason) up to 30 days before the departure date, we will return your deposit in full. In case the cancellation takes place in less than 30 days, your deposit will not be reimbursed.
RETURN
The vessel must return by a prearranged time and an inspection of its state and equipment will take place before refueling.
The chartering period may only be extended following an agreement with our company.
If the boat cannot be returned at the prearranged date, time and place for any reason, including adverse weather conditions, the charterer will be liable to the costs of any extra days of rental, as well as of any skipper, transportation and additional fuel expenses that might occur.
Damage costs
In case of damages caused to the vessel, the client will be charged with a contribution amount of between€100 and €2,500 depending on the boat’s size.
